A bolt of lightening as soon as it touches the tongue! The closest to an old world Chardonnay that you will find coming out of California.
The wine starts with crisp Fuji apple and bright, lifted, hints of reduction. White peach pit & Amish butter on the nose. Hints of cinnamon, cardamon, rainier cherry, and a touch of cantaloupe. The finish conjures a blanc de noir champagne.
Break out a Bartlett pear, drizzle it with honey and add some Greek yogurt.
The Label includes the Matisse quote: "What I dream of is an art of balance." Nailed it.
